  3. Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or GED is a must. You also need to know how to read and write in English. 
  4. Clean Slate: Pass that background check and drug screening with flying colors.
  5. No Felony Zone: Keep your record clean – no convicted felonies allowed. 

Note: When you become an unarmed guard with Morgan Security Services, you will undergo a  criminal background check and a past employment check.

To become a security officer with Morgan Security Services, you must first meet the following requirements… 

  1. Be citizens of the United States; 
  2. Have attained the age of 21; 
  3. Not have been convicted of or currently under indictment for any of the following: a felony; 
  • impersonation of a law enforcement officer or employee of the United States or  any political subdivision thereof; 
  • the illegal use, sale, or possession of a controlled substance as defined in KRS  Chapter 218A; or 
  • any crime of moral turpitude. 
  1. An applicant shall have satisfied this requirement if, in those instances where the foregoing offense was a misdemeanor, conviction occurred at least two years before employment application.
